The Big Event provides the students of Texas A&M University with the opportunity to say "Thank You" the community of Bryan/College Station for their continued support throughout the years. This past year, over 17,500 students volunteered to complete almost 1,650 jobs, performing tasks that range from painting, to yard work and cleaning. Already the largest one-day, student-run service project in the nation, The Big Event has expanded to 75 other schools across the nation. The Big Event Committee is responsible for planning and organizing all events surrounding this day, allowing students to work with residents in their community.

Building the Tradition of Service.
The Big Event will be on March 23rd, 2013! Building off of the momentum from last year, the new Executive Staff is already planning to make this one the best big event yet.
Texas A&M Students
Sign ups to participate in The Big Event 2013 will open again on the Febuary 2013. If you would like to become more involved with The Big Event:
Committee Applications will be available the first week in September .
Staff Assistant Applications will be available in mid-November.

Thank you Bryan/College Station for all you do! Job Request Forms (JRF's) are no longer being accepted due to the fact that we have reached our capacity for jobs. Please look for us in 2013!
