As a service organization, The Big Event is funded solely through the generosity of private and corporate donors. The Big Event’s annual Gala and Silent Auction is the largest source of donations to help cover The Big Event’s annual operating costs. The evening includes dinner, entertainment and both live and silent auctions. With the funds raised through this year’s Gala, The Big Event hopes to recruit 19,000 students to serve 1,850 residents of the Bryan and College Station Community.
The 2015 Gala will take place on October 24, 2015 from 6:30-10:00pm at Pebble Creek Country Club in College Station, Texas. Appropriate attire for the evening is dressy casual.
We invite you to come join us in celebrating The Big Event at Texas A&M University! Please come to support The Big Event by purchasing your seat (groups may also purchase a full table) for the 2015 Gala and Silent Auction. We hope that you will join us for an evening of community, fine dining, and inspiration from our speaker.
One way to support The Big Event is to donate an auction item for The Big Event Gala’s live or silent auction. The silent auction in particular generates the majority of donations received at Gala. Without the support and donation of auction items, The Big Event’s Gala could not be possible.
