For Community Residents

Throughout the years, the communities of Bryan and College Station have shown endless support to the students of Texas A&M. For this reason, The Big Event strives to reciprocate that appreciation to all residents. Each year, students from Texas A&M University spend one Saturday performing various service projects all across the Bryan and College Station communities. These ‘jobs’ last approximately four hours and could include window washing, yard work, interior/exterior painting, and much more.

We encourage all residents to allow the students of Texas A&M University express their gratitude and appreciation by requesting the performance of a service project.

Who can request a job?

All residents of Bryan and College Station are encouraged to request a job to be performed by the students of Texas A&M University. However, due to the amount of resources available to us, The Big Event will only accept the first 1,500 job request forms submitted.

If you are a resident of Bryan or College Station and interested in having student participants perform a job at your house please check The Big Event website in January of 2010. Job Request Forms will also be available in The Eagle, online, or by mail.
